Urszula Langer

Deputy Chief Labour Inspector

Ms Urszula Langer is a graduate of the University of Szczecin – the Faculty of Law and Administration. She completed her studies in 2002 with a master’s degree in law.

Professional work and specialisation

Ms Langer has over twenty years of work experience. She has dedicated almost all her professional life to the labour inspection, where she was employed in August 2004. A year later she completed the 50th edition of the preparatory course for labour inspectors and obtained the qualifications of a state labour inspector.

In 2009 Ms Langer was promoted to the position of senior labour inspector, and then in 2012 she completed the process of specialisation in working time, with a special focus on working time in road transport; as a result of that she was promoted to the position of senior labour inspector – specialist. In 2024 she became a senior labour inspector – chief specialist.

For many years Ms Urszula Langer was a coordinator and an active inspector involved in topics related to labour law and the employment legality, especially as regards employment agencies, observance of labour law in relation to temporary workers and compliance with a ban on concluding civil-law contracts in conditions typical of an employment relationship. She also coordinated inspection activities regarding the posting of workers from the territory of the Republic of Poland in the framework of the provision of services.

As of 2019 she is qualified as legal counsel.

On 6 December 2024 Ms Langer was appointed by the Speaker of the Polish Sejm to the position of Deputy Chief Labour Inspector.
