Aneta Gronowicz

Deputy Chief Labour Inspector

Aneta Gronowicz is a lawyer. She earned her master's degree in 1993 at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and afterwards completed her judicial training at the Court of Appeal in Rzeszów.

Professional work and specialisation

Before joining the State Labour Inspection, for over 3 years she worked in the District Court in Przeworsk, where she was dealing with the issue of minor offences. Since October 1997 she was employed at the District Labour Inspectorate in Rzeszów. During the first years of her work she was engaged in providing legal advice and written replies to legal enquiries, which allowed her to learn a wide range of issues in the area of labour law, occupational safety and health, and social security.

In 2004, Ms Gronowicz completed her labour inspector’s training and obtained qualifications of a state labour inspector. In 2009, she was promoted to the position of senior labour inspector. In 2011, she obtained her specialisation in wages and other employment benefits, which earned her a position of a senior labour inspector - specialist.

At the same time, she worked as a teacher and an academic conducting classes in the field of occupational safety and health.

In March 2018 she was promoted to the position of the Deputy District Labour Inspector for Legal and Organisational Matters at the District Labour Inspectorate in Rzeszów, initially as the acting Deputy District Labour Inspector, and from January 2019, on the basis of permanent appointment. She performed the duties of Deputy District Labour Inspector in Rzeszów until January 2024.  

On 6 December 2024 she was appointed by the Speaker of the Polish Sejm to the position of Deputy Chief Labour Inspector.
